Katia Cartacheff

Chief Operating Officer

Katia Cartacheff joined Agence France-Muséums in 2014.

Katia holds a master’s in Modern Literature from the Université Paris Diderot, where she focused on studying the books of the Galerie Kahnweiler artists. In 2002, she joined the Exhibition Department of the Réunion des musées nationaux – Grand Palais (RmnGP) as Exhibition Registrar, Project Manager and then Head of Management and Deputy Head of the Exhibition Department. She contributed to coordinating the exhibitions carried out in France and abroad, conducted a study on French state guarantee for international exhibitions and took part in the transversal work of cultural establishments for the State Procurement Services. She teaches in parallel at the master’s level at the École du Louvre and at the Sorbonne Abu Dhabi, and collaborates on the training sessions at the Institut National du Patrimoine (National Institute of Cultural Heritage) and INALCO.
In 2013, she joined the Strategy and Development Department of the RmnGP as Project Officer for international development and cultural engineering challenges.

Adrien Berthelot

Loans Manager

Adrien Berthelot joined Agence France-Muséums in 2008 as a Curatorial Assistant for archaeology.  In 2014, he became Loans Manager for the permanent galleries of the Louvre Abu Dhabi, and provides the link between AFM and its partner institutions.

A graduate in Oriental Archeology (postgraduate degree at the Ecole doctorale de Paris I), he participated in several archaeological missions and publications in the Middle East and Central Asia (Turkmenistan, Iran, Mongolia). He is also an associate member of the French Archaeological Mission in the United Arab Emirates (CNRS, UMR 7041). With this team, he has worked on the sites of the Hili oasis (Al Aïn), the Neolithic Sanctuary of Akab (Umm al Qawain) and, since 2009, has participated in the study of coastal occupation sites of the northern Emirates of the federation.

Bérangère Meillat


Bérangère Meillat joined Agence France-Muséums in 2013 and was appointed Registrar Assistant in July 2014.

She holds a bachelor’s degree in Art History form the Université Paris IV-Sorbonne and is a graduate in Museology and of the Master of Heritage Studies at the Ecole du Louvre.
She has carried out operations in documentation, inventory and proofing on various collections at the Médiathèque de l’Architecture et du Patrimoine, the Mobilier National and the Musée des Arts et Métiers. With the Agence France-Muséums’ collection management department, she carries out the document and iconographic management of the collection and provides her assistance to restoration and preventative conservation operations.
